a story of survival
This movie was beautiful. The panoramic widescreen cinematography made the theater experience so amazing. Normally, I hate sitting up at the very front but this was one of those exceptions and I HAD to be in front. I felt completely immersed having to pan back and forth through every scene the way it was so slowly and deliberately shot. It was almost like you were a third person experiencing everything. I'm so glad it won the Oscar for cinematography, it definitely deserved it. Props to iñárritu for his best director Oscar and of course Leo for his best actor Oscar.

This movie is amazing. The actors are sensational. If Leo doesn't win an award then Tom Hardy should definitely win for supporting actor. I was gripped to the story from the very beginning. Amazing just amazing.
